UNBOXING my Awaken the Goddess Within curated box Featuring Eye of Horus Products

Hello fellow Makeup Junkies welcome to another awesome Unboxing Blog featuring the products from Eye of Horus. This curated box is from one of the most popular Online Beauty shop Glamour Box Ph . To those who are not aware of this company they are a Philippine based Online Shop w/c carry different makeup products both local and international brands. They also offer curated Boxes w/c features different brands per edition, This Eye of Horus Box is the 4th box w/c they released this year after their site improvement.

 I got mine about 2 weeks ago hehehe i was just too busy that i wasn't able to put this up on my blog...

I've been using all the products this past 2 weeks and i must admit that this brand is amazing, all the products that i got is really pigmented and last really long. I also did a little research about this Australian brand and i found out that they are Vegan Cosmetics, meaning they use organic ingredients that are not harmful to our health and they are Cruelty free w/c is a big factor for me when purchasing cosmetics.

The Curated box is composed of :

Isis Sun Goddess Shadow Palette ( click here for product link ). This Palette is composed of three Italian Baked Gorgeous Golden shades w/c can be applied dry for minimal finish or wet brush for more striking hues, it can also be used as a Bronzer though personally i find this palette to Shimmery for a bronzer.

Enigma Mist - Soft Pink Metallic Satin (light)

Chalice Bronze - Golden Bronze Metallic Satin (medium)

Sacred Husk- Rich Golden Brown Metallic Satin (dark)

Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown (click here for product link). This Paraben free Liner Pencil is very creamy and really easy to apply. By using it's sponge tip you can create a sexy deep smokey look. The downfall of this liner is it easily transfer, if you keep on rubbing your eyes you can mess it up.

Liquid Define Babylon Brown Liner  ( click here for product detail). This is perfect in creating the wing line for a cat eye look. Because it's water proof expect it to last really long.

Ankh Necklace this is exclusive in the curated box set, meaning you cannot buy this in their site. I really love this necklace, it just goes well to just about any outfit. You can wear it anywhere from simple dinner to formal affair this necklace will add statement to your outfit.

Christmas in NewYork Chocolate Shop Makeup Set by Too Faced Cosmetics: Personal Thoughts and Swatches

Hello fellow Beauty Addicts!! Christmas is just around the corner so as expected Cosmetic companies will definitely release their Holiday Makeup Edition. One of my Favorite brand is the Too Faced Cosmetics, aside from their super cute make up themes the formulation of their products is amazing!!! and the scent... it's soooo yummy that everytime i use it i always crave for a damn chocolate bar!! On this blog i'll be sharing to you my personal thoughts and swatches on their Holiday Makeup Edition Christmas in New York Makeup i got the Chocolate shop kit the biggest of them all because why not?? the bigger the better :)!!

This kit retails at 3,429.00 Php. (click here for product link) it contains 21 Eyeshadows 8 mattes  and 13 shimmer shadows, 1 blush, 1 highlighter , 1 contouring shade ,

 it also include deluxe size of Shadow insurance eyeshadow primer, Deluxe size od Better than sex Mascara, and a deluxe size of Melted Lipstick in the shade Chocolate Milkshake. 

First lets talk about how pretty and super duper cute is the packaging!!! frankly speaking i am always purchasing Too Faced because of it's packaging, yes i know that's kinda weird but let's face it having a catchy packaging will always attract costumer, it's the 1st thing they will notice when they shop so for the packaging i will give Too faced 2 thumbs up. However if you have the last years Holiday Edition kits you wouldn't probably appreciate this because this is almost the same, the only difference was the previous one was Christmas in Paris so the setting was more of a french theme. 

Unlike their Chocolate Palettes w/c was all made with sturdy Tin Cans this one is made with hard cardboard, although the board is pretty sturdy i wouldn't be bringing the palette with me because it's kinda big and i don't think it will protect the products inside you might end up with broken pans!!. Just like their other products this smells like chocolate aswell, i think it's a too faced trademark i would be surprise it one of their product won't have a chocolate scent.

I've been using this for this past few days now to know if their worth it, personally i have no issues on the palette, i tried using it without any primer so far it didn't crease, i put it around 10:00 am i usually go home around 5:00 -6:00 pm and the shadows is still their i'm really impress because other eyeshadows usually disappear by the time i got home, but these shadows is still lock in my lids. There are some shades w/c are not as pigmented as the other ones mostly on the matte colors but you can still build it slowly to achieve the pigment that you prefer. 

I'm not a fan of  the Shadow insurance primer, although it does enhance the shadows and make it last longer but it made the eyeshadows really2x hard to blend, i'm not sure if it's just me but it is too sticky that when you apply the shadow the brush does not glide at all, it's like sticking to your lids making the blending process really hard. 

I have mixed feelings with the melted Lipstick, i love how it is very moisturizing and comfortable in the lips  plus the scent is amazing but after wearing it about an hour white lines start forming around my lips w/c i really 2x hate, everytime i wear this i need to check my lips, when that white line starts forming i have to scrub it off and reapply again.. it's really annoying.

Now i know why people is raving about this Mascara, this is amazing one coat and your lashes is alive, 2 coats your bombshell 3 or more coats dammit you a goddess!! i love this nothing more to say.

Final say: for me this product is about 90% worth it because it has some products w/c didn't work for me, however according to Too faced total value of the products included in this kit is around 200-300 USD i mean Too Faced makeup is not cheap so to have these many product in one kit i guess it's okay, if you're looking for a better value for you money in a lesser price you can get the Grand Hotel Cafe kit it has a free mascara and 3 separate Palettes w/c you can share to your friends (w/c i really doubt it hehehe) or you can just keep it all to your self ....
