Hello Makeup Junkies!! Before i Start my blog i would like to greet you Happy new year!! Wow it's 2017 !! am i the only one who thinks time flies too fast? i feel like it was just yesterday that 2016 started now it's 2017!! I wonder what this year will be?? whatever this year will hold i just hope it will include new makeup products and new cosmetic launches :) But enough of this chitchat, on this blog i will be sharing my 1st Althea Curated Box.

If you're Residing in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and Thailand you have probably heard about Althea Korea. To those who never heard of this Company it's basically an online cosmetic shop that offers Korean Beauty and Skincare products. So if you're into Korean products or want to try it and if you are residing on the countries mentioned above then this site will be your favorite cyber shop. If i'm not mistaken Althea Korea has been in the Philippines for about 2 years. They launched on 2015 i think (correct me if i'm wrong) and they have been a buzz among the beauty junkies all over the country.
Recently they released their own version of Curated Boxes since this type of offers became popular in the Philippines. They offered limited time Christmas themed boxes , like for example they have this Base Makeup box (sold out) which contains products for base makeup like primers, moisturizers etc. all stuff you need in prepping your face for makeup. They also offered a Homme Box exclusively for Men (i think they mean "HOMIE" and not "HOMME" a slang word for guys i think) it contains skincare products formulated specifically for the Male skin and I think this box is still available in their site. They released series of curated boxes all are different from one another, however it was usually sold out very fast, i was lucky to actually got 2 of their Holiday Makeup Boxes but i gave one box to my cousin so i'll be blogging about the one that i got which is The Black and Red Box .
This Box Contains:
Clio Smokey Eye shadow Palette that i believe it's exclusive only to this box, because i couldn't find it on their Site. This Palette has 10 matte and shimmer shades.
I've heard about the brand Clio from Pony and Morgan, the two Youtubers whom i'm crazy with when it comes with Korean Products. I always wanted to try their product so i was really happy that this was included in the Box.
The shades are quite pigmented and very creamy. it has 5 matte shades and 5 shimmery ones, i really love this palette it's the perfect korean Smokey Eyeshadow. I used This during our new years eve party.
Secret Key Miracle fit Contouring Stick in the shade Medium and Dark. So basically these two is used for contour (obviously) i just don't get why they include 2 contouring stick, they could have provided a highlighter instead of a medium shade.
Each stick contains 6.5 g of product and it is exclusive to this box aswell.
This is a Felt tip Liner very similar to the 3CE liner w/c i really like. i haven't used this yet but i think this will be perfect for drawing a slim wing, and it has 0.5g of product.
Witch's Pouch Get it Easy Dual Brow Pencilcara in the shade Natural brown.
This is one of those eyebrow pencil that has a pencil on the other end and a mascara type applicator on the other side. This shade is a bit light for me at the moment but i'll be changing my hair color to light brown so i think this will be a perfect eyebrow.
Chica y Chico Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Mata Hari
What can i say, this lipstick is super red and just the perfect blood red lip color!! i love it sooooo much it's easy to apply and it dries into a satin finish not matte. if you're into red lippies you should get this you'll definitely love it!
Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in the shade Grapefruit Jelly
i use to have this blusher and i love it, it was in a different shade. aside from it's super cute and girly packaging this blusher is actually one of etude house's best product, it give that tinge of blush but not too much that it looks more natural. this blusher is perfect for day to day look.
Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Face Mask
This was a freebie that i got from Althea, it is a Pore Tightening, anti oil, moisturizing mask, i haven't use it so i can't really tell if it's good or not but i'll update you when i use it.
So the total Value of the box is 6,046.00 Php. and i paid only 1,360.00 Php.!! this is why i love curated boxes because you always get a good value from your money. Often times you get twice or more products than what you paid for. so it's a good deal!! way to go Althea i'll definitely buy more of you Curated Boxes.
and oh btw this was the look i created using the Clio Smokey Palette and the Chica y Chico Matte Liquid Lipstick.
