My Colourpop Experience / Unboxing and Mini Review

Hello fellow Beauty Junkie! on this blog i'll be sharing to you my experience in purchasing from colourpop and the stuff that i have bought directly from their site ... so without further adieu let's start.

I've heard about Colourpop before but only on Instagram because as i recall they don't offer International shipping before or atleast they only ship to specific countries and Philippines was not one of them. I'm not really sure when they started shipping to Ph but my 1st order was during their Black friday Free international shipping promo dated on Nov. 23,2016. Since it was my 1st time to buy from this shop i decided to buy the It's Vintage Mini size kit which consist of 5 mini size Ultra matte Lipsticks, i thought it was a perfect item to purchased because it's only 18.00 USD and you get to try out 5 shades and also my other reason is just in case my parcel gets lost during the shipping w/c I've heard happened to other buyers i wouldn't feel that bad because it's only 18 USD.

My Parcel arrived to our Local post office on Dec. 15,2016 w/c i picked up on Dec. 16, so it took about 22 days to arrived in Iloilo city where i lived. I also paid a local tax of 112.00 PHP about 2.50 USD i think i'm not sure how much the exchange rate of USD to PHP at the moment.

as you can see above the box included a cute note and a mini brochure of colourpop.  the shades included in the mini kit are the Tulle, Love Bug, Bianca, Notion, and Lax. Among these shades my favorite ones are the Love Bug, Notion and the Tulle, the shade Bianca is too muted for me although it will look good with dark smokey eye makeup, and the shade Lax is too Bold for my everyday look.

Each Mini Lippies contains 0.64 g / 0.02 oz of product. For me the formulation of the lipsticks differs on each shade. I find Lovebug and Bianca more creamy and easier to use compared to the other three w/c is too liquidy. All of them dried into a real matte like cement matte, it's a bit drying so it's best to apply a little lip balm on your lips before applying these lipstick.

My Next Purchased was on Dec. 22,2016 during the Kathleen Lights Favorite Promo. This time i purchased 52.80 USD so i could be eligible for the Free international shipping. Then Colourpop Gave me a coupon code of 10 USD w/c they emailed me a week after my 2nd order was processed. Then i ordered again during their Last Call promo w/c i think is still on going. My 3rd Order was actually for my cousin who asked me to buy some lippies and shadows for her. The total amount was 24.00 plus a shipping fee of 9.99 a total of 33.99 but i used my 10 usd coupon so i only paid 23.99.

My 2nd order together with my 3rd order arrived on January 16, 2017 w/c i picked up 2 days after and again i paid 112.00 php for each box a total of 224.00 php.

Just like the 1st box, these two boxes also includes a note and a brochure

This was my 2nd order, consist of 4 Ultra Satin Lipsticks, one Ultra Matte, Two Lippie Stix in the shade Chatue and Trust me, one Quad super shock shadow, one individual super shock shadow in the shade Elixer and one Highlighter in the shade Lunchmoney.

This was my 3rd order, w/c consist of two Ultra Matte Lipstick, one Ultra Satin Lipstick, and three Supershock Shadows in the shade Tinsel, Sleigh and Fairfax.

Initially the 3rd box was intended for my cousin, but since it arrived together with my 2nd box i decided to let her pick the shades that she preferred.

From left to right Echo park, FrickNFrack, November, Magic Wand, Perky, Wink and Wild Nothing. Each regular Liquid Lipstick contains 3.2g / 0.11 oz of product.

Because i love Kathleen Lights i needed to buy these :) her super shock quad shadow with the shades Glow, Cornelious, Blaze and KathleenLights and her Ultra Matte Lipstick in the shade Mama.

From top to Bottom Fairfax, Elixer, Glow, Cornelious, Kathleenlights, and Blaze
(my cousin got the Sleigh and Tinsel so i was not able to swatched them)

The Supershock shadows has almost a "mousy" consistency so i find it hard to use especially the matte shades because my brush can't pick it up and i needed to use my fingers.. so what i usually to is i'll either use it as a base or put it on top of my powder shadows ... i don't think i can use them alone like a normal eyeshadow because it's difficult to blend.. but it looks very pretty as a base or on top of powder shadows and it's very long wearing so i still love it. Each Super Shock Eyeshadow Contains 2.1g / 0.07 oz of product.

from Left to right Chateau and Trust me

The Lippie Stix is Very Matte and very Pigmented even in just one swipe, it does transfer so that's one downfall but it's very comfortable to the lips. Each Lippie stix contains 1.0g / 0.0352 oz of product.

Super Shock Highlighter in the shade Lunch Money

i usually put this on the high points of the cheeks and on the tip of my nose for a sheen glow. Just like the eyeshadow this too has a mousy consistency so it's best to apply it using your fingers and in a tapping motion. The Highlight contains 4.2g / 0.15oz of product.

I love the formulation of Colourpop, their Supershock Shadow and Highlighter is very unique, it's a bit hard to use at first but as you go on using it you tend to get used to it's formulation and you just adjust to it.  I always combine it with my normal powder eyeshadows and i never had any issues, it actually help prolonged my powder shadows.

The Liquid lipsticks are very good, like what i mentioned above the formulation differs on each shades w/c i don't know why but that's what i noticed.

here are some of my previous look using some of my colourpop Lippies..

Over all i love their products, the quality is very nice and the price is really affordable, i'll definitely buy more from there site. They also recently launched their Pressed powder shadows and highlighters so i guess that shows that this company is willing to adjust to what their costumers wants.

So that's it for my Colourpop Online Experience, i hope this blog helps you... Till Next time thanks for reading .... Mwah
